Sunathaer Caex’s final moment was facing the Triumvirate of Undeath, the trio of liches led by Vox’shax, the Everdeath. Archmage Savros had tricked all three and recruited Sunathaer Caex on the quest to end them before they could regenerate. Caex fell in battle against Vox’shax, as many adventurers have before, but only due to Savros’ betrayal.
Though the mission wasn’t a complete success, Kuat’ze and Barator would both regenerate at the same place as Vox’shax, creating the perfect opportunity to end the Triumvirate of Undeath once and for all. Now, new heroes will end what Sunathaer started.
