The first encounter between the humans and the Vrak’thal was disastrous. Many were wounded or killed, leaving only a handful of survivors. Among them was Rambold Patton, a brave and resourceful military officer. He was able to inform the human HQ of what had happened and ask for support. Rambold’s plea was disregarded, as the leaders of the human race decided against escalating the conflict with the Vrak’thal. Hearing of what had transpired, Commander Patton, Rambold’s brother, couldn’t just let it be. He gathered his squad of elite soldiers and went after his brother.
