After surviving the Colossus’ games, the adventurers were dragged by a blinding flash of light which invaded the arena. They were at the multiverse’s central hub, a land where everything is connected, known as the City of Portals. The Cult of Hunger is seeking to use this realm as a jumping point, connecting two places in the multiverse that were meant to remain separate. The heroes are given an important quest: to follow the cult to whatever plane they’re headed to and stop the connection.
