"Every Demon of the Land of Sins is the embodiment of the Sin they represent, except for Faustus. In his case, pride itself is the embodiment of his maleficent will. He is the most ancient demon in the Land of Sins and is the source of the evil power that permeates that plane of existence. He created or corrupted all the Ruling Sins and made them his playthings, much like they do to mortals. What game he's playing is anyone's guess.
